Wolf’s Ridge Brewing Co.
Opening our list is Wolf’s Ridge Brewing – a recent addition to the RivalryBrews.com network, and a successful and foundational part of the Columbus brewery scene. Established in 2013 by (father and son) Alan and Bob Szuter, the brewery has become known as a “premiere drinking and dining destination in the capital city. It features nationally-recognized Daybreak (5% ABV) – a custom cream ale enhanced with Columbus’ own One Line Coffee and Madagascar vanilla. This custom craft beer has received national recognition for three consecutive years at the Great American Beer Festival in Colorado.

North High Brewing
Founders Gavin Myers and Tim Ward took a passion for beer, and grew it into a soon-to-be 10-location footprint throughout the state of Ohio. With brewpubs in Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Springfield, North High Brewing began their story back in Columbus and it’s Short North location in 2011. RivalryBrews.com hosts an inventory of year-round and seasonal brews. North High’s Honey Wheat Lager (5.8% ABV) has a soft finish brewed with Ohio honey and malt from Marysville. Hopes IPA (6.8% ABV) is a west-coast pale ale with a bright tropical citrus aroma.

Endeavor Brewing & Spirits
Named Columbus’ first “brewstillery”, Endeavor Brewing & Spirits sets a high bar when it comes to its’ craft beers. Co-Founder Scott Talmage boasts the brewery team is both passionate and analytical in the development of their custom beers. The brewery he said is also unique in its wide use of international hops. Endeavor’s Shaka IPA (6.5% ABV) features select hops from three continents, and its’ Landhaus Hefeweizen (5.5% ABV) is made with imported German malts. Brewmaster Cameron Lloyd received his certification in Berlin. Endeavor is an early partner with RivalryBrews.com.

Having opened its doors June 2019, Outerbelt Brewing holds bragging rights at the largest craft brewery in Fairfield County. The facility houses a large taproom, private event space, covered patio, and a 30 bbl craft beer brewery. Caters to discriminating craft beer fans with limited release editions, seasonal brews, and a stable list of year-round drafts. Topping that list is Gravel Donuts (6.5% ABV) – a New England IPA with a pineapple, citrus, and blueberry foundation. Outerbelt’s Glasstown Lager (5.2% ABV) is a pale ale brewed with 100% American Pilsner Malt - a hometown brew inspired by the history of glass making in Fairfield County.

After Four String Brewing Company closed its doors in October 2018, it left many Columbus faithful in want of the brewery’s popular ales, including its’ Hilltop Heritage Lager. Founder Dan Cochran partnered with entrepreneur Blake Squires to give the brand a second chapter. Maintaining the original recipe and classic 16 oz. can design, Hilltop Heritage Lager and Hilltop Light were reborn and made available to an awaiting Central Ohio faithful. In addition to local distributors and brewpubs, Hilltop has partnered with RivalryBrews.com to offer direct home delivery of this popular American lager.
