"Cleveland Beer Week"
CLEVELAND – Established in 2009, “Cleveland Beer Week” was developed to elevate visibility of the craft beer industry, support area breweries, and create funding for local non-profit organizations. RivalryBrews.com is again proud to support this event and our CBW Partner Breweries.
Beer Week President Chris Lieb and his group have put together an itinerary of local craft brewer events with proceeds benefitting the Malone Scholarship Fund.

BREWERY OF THE MONTH
16 Lots Brewing Company
MASON - A strong sense of community pride is evident in the work of 16 Lots Brewing Company serving the greater Cincinnati area. Sitting in the shadow of Kings Island Water Park, the group’s “Soak City” Juicy IPA is a fan favorite on RivalryBrews.com. The brilliantly decorated can pays homage to the park and is designed as ”a throw back to 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea,” says Dell Hall,16 Lots co-owner and the group’s chief commercial officer.
16 Lots celebrated its 4th anniversary on September 15 and hosts a consistent tap selection of signature and seasonal ales. The brewery and adjoining 2,000-square-foot tap room also offers an in-house restaurant, Mad Monks Pizza Company. The establishment was named the region’s Best Brewery by Mason & Deerfield Lifestyle Magazine.
The brewery also honors the city’s early roots with its German Pilsner, “The Major”. The craft beer celebrates Revolutionary War Veteran William Mason. The local hero, for whom the city is named, purchased 640 acres of land at an 1803 auction for $1,700. In 1832, Mason created sixteen lots of property from his initial settlement, and branded the village “Palmira”. Following the soldier’s death, village officials changed the village name to “Mason”.

NEW CUSTOM CRAFT BEER
Tribute To Bengals' QB Andersen:
"Kenny's Dey Drinking Lager"
CINCINNATI - September 2021, legendary Quarterback Ken Anderson was inducted into the Cincinnati Bengals inaugural Ring Of Honor class. He was joined by franchise icons Paul Brown and Anthony Munoz’. The 1971 draftee was named the team’s starter the following year under Head Coach Bill Walsh.
To recognize Anderson, Hall and his team at 16 Lots Brewery have released a sunshine American lager branded “Kenny’s Dey Drinking Lager”. Proceeds from craft beer sales also benefit the Ken Anderson Alliance (KAA). The group supports adults with disabilities in the greater Cincinnati area.
"As a beer drinker, I’m excited to have a beer with my identify on it,” Anderson said in local media reports. “Even higher that for each beer I drink, KAA advantages.”
